The Voice of Ireland (series 5)
The Voice of Ireland is an Irish reality talent show which is broadcast by RTÉ. In June 2015, it was confirmed by the programme's broadcaster RTÉ that the show would be recommissioned for a fifth series, despite speculation of its axing for Syco Productions' Ireland's Got Talent, which is confirmed to be premiered in Ireland in 2016. The Voice of Ireland will continue to be produced by Screentime ShinAwil Productions, and filmed in The Helix.
==Cast==
As it stands, RTÉ hosts Kathryn Thomas and Eoghan McDermott are scheduled to return as co-presenters of the show. The pair remain at the helm of RTÉ despite Kathryn being rumoured to be replaced by Ray D'Arcy on Operation Transformation and Eoghan's new RTÉ 2FM programme. Meanwhile, coach Una Foden expressed strong interests in returning too, following the success of her contestant Patrick Donoghue in series 4. Former coach Sharon Corr wouldn't rule out a return to the red chairs either when asked.
